PBTfans has been around for a while, but we are still new as a brand in less than a year. This brand was created to make high-quality, original design, in-stock keycaps that make enthusiasts skip the long group buy period to use and benefit the community's growth. This continues to be our goal for the future development of the brand.
Both our team and the manufacturer are working constantly, exploring the keycap mold design. After all, we are not a bunch of geniuses who were born to make everything perfect. The PBTfans mold has been upgraded several times during this past year. There will be undoubtedly more new challenges to come in the future, and we are also ready to grow with the user's criticism before we ever consider the brand a success.
1. The PBTfans Retro Dark Light:
About the glare reflecting on the side of the keycaps, that is inevitable during plastic injection molding, especially on PBT injection molding (Since all PBT keycaps are not 100% PBT raw materials). This production method will produce some bright marks. It happens on most of the brands that use the same production method.

This set is made from the brand-new PC mixed material we developed earlier. If there is still a cracking problem later on, don't hesitate to contact our customer service to get a replacement. You will also be covered if you bought it from a PBTfans vendor.

2. After receiving complaints, our team did not pass the buck nor refused anyone to return or refund for any reason. So, all refund applications are still accepted if you don't want to keep the original keycap set.
3. PYGA and other semi-transparent keycaps: We have been dealing with the problem of the semi-transparent keycaps cracking issue all the time since it happens. This is a probability event based on our research and tests so far. Firstly, we replaced the raw material imported from Japan and instead used material obtained from Taiwan. With this material being the highest quality as of current, we will keep analyzing it, in the pursuit of perfecting its use for keycap design use. If you are to find cracks in your set, you can contact our customer service for a replacement.
